Sarangui Dalpaengi, an organization dedicated to supporting individuals with 청각장애, is set to premiere "Miro and the Blue Ear Story," the first 창작연극 by its "Dalggum 연극단." Composed of 청각장애 청소년, the troupe will have its 공연 from July 31 to August 2 at CKL 무대 in 중구, Seoul. This moving production features both 청각장애 young performers and professional actors, embarking on an emotional 여정 to explore the true 의미 of "listening." Offered 무료 of charge, the 공연 aims to provide a unique 예술 경험 that transcends the 경계 between those with and without 장애, fostering universal 인식.
An Inspiring 무대 Featuring 청각장애 청소년 and Professional Actors
Sarangui Dalpaengi, chaired by 이 행희 회장, has announced the premiere of "Miro and the Blue Ear Story," the first 창작연극 by its Dalggum 연극단, comprising 청각장애 청소년. The 공연 will run from Friday, July 31, to Sunday, August 2, at CKL 무대 in 중구, Seoul. There will be 총 세 번의 공연: July 31 at 7:30 PM, and August 1 and 2 at 2:00 PM. All 좌석 are 무료, and citizens wishing to 관람 can apply through the Sarangui Dalpaengi website until Wednesday, July 22.
This 창작연극 brings together 청각장애 청소년 performers and professional actors on one 무대, delving deeply into the 의미 of "listening" beyond mere sound perception. The 서사 unfolds as a comet approaches Earth, filling the 세계 with both 불안 and excitement. A 소녀 named Miro, who uses an 인공와우, discovers a signal in a 토굴 and follows it, encountering a mysterious 세계 where 현실, 과거, memories, and 서사 intertwine.
"Miro and the Blue Ear Story" aims to deliver a 감동적 message to the 관객 through the tale of Bau, Taesu, and "Blue Ear," who hide in a 토굴 to protect children from 전쟁. Through the narratives of Miro, an 인공와우 user, and Blue Ear, the 연극 movingly conveys that true "listening" extends beyond recognizing sound to genuinely paying attention to the lives and 마음 of others.
The Growth of Dalggum 연극단 and the Special 의미 of the Play
The name "Dalggum 연극단" means "Snail's Dream" or "Dream 무대 of Snails." It is the new name for the "Okttapbang Dalpaengi" 연극단, which Sarangui Dalpaengi founded in 2022 to 향상 the 사회성 and 자존감 of individuals with 청각장애. Sarangui Dalpaengi has developed programs that not only involve 공연 activities but also 지원 speech rehabilitation through 발성, 호흡, and 연기 교육. Starting this year, the troupe is presenting its first 창작 작품 under the name "Dalggum 연극단," signifying an 확대 vision and a new 시작.
The 공연 features nine 청각장애 단원—Kim Ye-rin, Kim Chan-sol, Park Seung-min, Park Seung-hye, Oh Ye-na, Lee Yoon-a, Jang Yoon-so, Choi Si-hyun, and Hong Su-min—alongside five adult actors: Kim Wan-su, Kim Jin-ho, Yoo Su-in, Ji Hye-yeon, and Choi Hye-su. After months of 열정 rehearsal, this 작품, created by 청각장애 청소년, promises to be a meaningful occasion that breaks down 경계 between those with and without 장애, showcasing the true essence of collaborative 공연예술.
Expanding 문화 예술 Participation and a Message of 지원
이 행희 회장 of Sarangui Dalpaengi, emphasized the 의미 of this 공연, stating, "The Dalggum 연극단 is more than just creating a 연극; it's a 무대 where 청각장애 children discover their voices and 가능성, and communicate with the 세계." 회장 이 urged more people to experience the new 의미 of "listening" through this 공연 and to warmly 지원 the courageous 도전 of these 청각장애 청소년.
The 완성도 of this 공연 has been enhanced by the 지원 of various 기관 dedicated to promoting 문화 and 예술 activities that deliver 사회적 가치. Woori Financial Future Foundation and the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency are sponsors, while the Korea Creative Content Agency is providing 공간 지원 at CKL 무대. This collaborative 협력 effort highlights the warm 사회적 embrace for the 열정 dreams of 청각장애 청소년.
Sarangui Dalpaengi 계획 to continue 협력 with various 기관 to 확대 문화 and 예술 참여 활동 기회 for 청각장애인 and consistently present 공연 content that resonates with everyone. "Miro and the Blue Ear Story" is 예정 to be a significant first 시작 in realizing this vision.
