An Asia Web3 정책 협의체, centered around Hong Kong and Korea, has officially launched. The 협의체 aims to strengthen digital 자산 규제 and Web3 산업 협력 in the Asian 지역. Korean National Assembly 의원 Min Byung-duk, Hong Kong Legislative Council member Dr. Hon Johnny NG Kit-Chong, and Asia Economic Development Committee and HYPAI Labs Chairman Yoon Suk-heon will co-chair the 협의체.
Official 출범 of the Asia Web3 정책 협의체
The Asia Web3 정책 협의체 officially formalized its 설립, encompassing digital 자산 규제, stablecoins, artificial 지능 AI, and blockchain 인프라 connectivity, at an online kickoff 행사 held on March 23rd at 3 PM KST. The 행사 was co-hosted by Web3Labs and HYPAI Labs and globally live-streamed with 자막 in Korean, English, and Chinese.
The 사무국 of the 협의체 will be headed by Park Choong-hyun, CEO of Bitrise Capital Korea, and Casper Wong, CEO of Web3Labs. Key 인물 from political and 산업 분야 in Hong Kong and Korea, including Justin Sun, 설립자 of TRON, and Lee Jae-won, CEO of Bithumb, attended the kickoff 행사 to emphasize the 중요성 of the 협의체.

This 협의체 focuses on institutionalizing 정책 대화 between Hong Kong and Korea and expanding Web3 규제 협력 across the Asian 지역. Both sides presented key 의제, including the alignment of digital 자산 규제, stablecoin 시스템 설계, the convergence of AI and blockchain, inter-linking blockchain 인프라, and 협력 on 규제 표준.
Furthermore, the 협의체 plans to establish practical 산업 협력 모델 by concurrently implementing pilot 프로젝트 and 인재 교환 프로그램 involving 기업, 학계, and 스타트업. This initiative aims to achieve tangible 성과 in the Web3 분야 and foster a sustainable 생태계.

Dr. Hon Johnny NG Kit-Chong, Hong Kong Legislative Council 의원, stated that Hong Kong is strengthening its 역할 as an Asian digital 자산 허브 based on its virtual 자산 서비스 제공자 라이선싱 체제 and stablecoin 규제 체계. Representative Min Byung-duk emphasized that as Web3 reshapes the global 경제 질서, Asia must move beyond passive following to lead in 제도 설계 and 산업 표준 setting.
Representative Min Byung-duk stated, We must establish a mutually recognized 규제 협력 시스템 that aligns with international 표준. Based on this, common 기준 for core 원칙 should be developed to allow national 시스템 to interconnect. He added, By setting minimal common 표준 for stablecoin reserve 자산, basic 건전성 요구사항 for 운영자, and 투자자 보호 원칙, 기업 can operate stably, and 시장 신뢰 will increase.
Justin Sun, TRON 설립자, proposed 협력 and 균형 as the next competitive 우위 for the Web3 산업 in his 기조연설. He remarked, As Web3 is inherently a cross-border 산업, 규제 at a single national 수준 has 한계. He expressed 지지, stating, 지역 정책 조정 is necessary to collectively enhance 규제 명확성 and 혁신 역량, and that this 협의체 would be a crucial 시작점 for Asias Web3 협력.
Co-chairman Yoon Suk-heon stated, The Asia Web3 정책 협의체 will serve as a 가교 connecting 입법 리더 and 산업 리더 from various 국가. He added, We will expand 국제 협력 네트워크 and strengthen 정책 협력 and 소통 between 정부 and 기업 in each 국가 to build an open and sustainable Web3 생태계, thereby contributing to the 형성 of a new 질서 in the global 디지털 경제.
아시아 전역 협력 확대
Starting with Hong Kong and Korea, the 협의체 plans to expand its 참여 범위 to include Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Taiwan, evolving into an Asia-wide 정책 협력 플랫폼. This 확대 aims to contribute to the 발전 of the Web3 산업 across a broader Asian 지역.
Meanwhile, the 협의체 reported that the cumulative 라이브 방송 시청률 reached approximately 1.3 million, with total 트래픽, including 사전 행사 노출 and 소셜 미디어 확산, exceeding 3 million. This 결과 demonstrates the high 관심 수준 and 기대 surrounding the 협의체s 출범.
