The Korea Foundation for Disabled \ubb38\ud654 Arts is presenting special \ubb38\ud654\uc608\uc220 \ud589\uc0ac at Daehak-ro Ieum Center, Modoo Art Space, and Modoo Arts Theater to commemorate the upcoming 'Disabled Persons' Day' on April 20. From a historical exhibition looking back at the footsteps of \uc7a5\uc560\uc608\uc220, to a \uae30\ud68d\uc804 imbued with the meaning of relationships and collaboration, and even \uacf5\uc5f0 that directly engage with the audience, this initiative promises a rich experience encompassing the past, present, and future of \uc7a5\uc560\uc608\uc220.<\/p>\n

The Korea Foundation for Disabled \ubb38\ud654 Arts (Chairperson Bang Gwi-hee) is presenting a variety of \ubb38\ud654\uc608\uc220 \ud589\uc0ac, encompassing exhibitions and \uacf5\uc5f0, at Daehak-ro Ieum Center, Modoo Art Space, and Modoo Arts Theater to commemorate Disabled Persons' Day (April 20). This initiative, unfolding across three venues, is designed to showcase diverse facets of \uc7a5\uc560\uc608\uc220 art. From a historical exhibition that looks back at records, to a \uae30\ud68d\uc804 exploring the meaning of relationships and collaboration, and even \uacf5\uc5f0 that directly engage the audience, \uc7a5\uc560\uc608\uc220 art can be experienced in various ways.<\/p>\n

\u25c7 '\uc7a5\uc560\uc608\uc220 Artists History Exhibition – People Who Became Paths' (April 20 – May 10 \/ Ieum Center) At Daehak-ro Ieum Center, the April 20 to May 10 \uae30\ud68d\uc804 \uae30\ud68d\uc804 '\uc7a5\uc560\uc608\uc220 Artists History Exhibition – People Who Became Paths' will be held. This exhibition is Korea's first archival exhibition, exploring the lives and art of first-generation \uc7a5\uc560\uc608\uc220 artists from the Joseon Dynasty through modern and contemporary times. Focusing on 38 individuals, it examines the historical flow of \uc7a5\uc560\uc608\uc220 and, based on records and historical materials, shows how \uc7a5\uc560\uc608\uc220 has continued through the ages. Furthermore, it is significant in that it lays the foundation for building a \uc7a5\uc560\uc608\uc220 archive.<\/p>\n

\u25c7 \uae30\ud68d\uc804 'The Art of Relationship: Willingly Leaning on Each Other' (April 16 – May 23 \/ Modoo Art Space) At Modoo Art Space, the April 1 \uae30\ud68d\uc804 from \uae30\ud68d\uc804 'The Art of Relationship: Willingly Leaning on Each Other' will open. This \uc7a5\uc560\uc608\uc220 disabled art exhibition views disabled art not just as individual achievement but from the perspective of 'relationship' and 'collaboration,' exploring the possibilities of creation expanded through close solidarity. Six artists and teams, including Kim Jin-woo, Dungji, and Raumcon, participate, meeting the audience through various forms such as painting, installation, \uacf5\uc5f0, and participatory programs.<\/p>\n

\u25c7 'Concert for All: Together, Spring' (April 20 \/ Modoo Arts Theater) On Disabled Persons' Day, April 20, at 7:30 PM, the Modoo Arts Theater \uacf5\uc5f0 will host the commemorative \uacf5\uc5f0 'Concert for All: Together, Spring'. This \uad6d\uc545 \uacf5\uc5f0 is a crossover, based on \uad6d\uc545 \uc7a5\uc560\uc608\uc220, and features diverse performers, primarily \uc7a5\uc560\uc608\uc220 artists, presenting a stage where tradition and modernity blend. A variety of performers, including Gayageum player Seon Young-sook, piano-byeongchang Choi Jun, Pansori singer Heo Jeong, Samulnori Ttamtti, Dream On Dance Company, Gyeonggi folk song singer \uad6d\uc545won, and fusion \uad6d\uc545 band Akdan Gwangchil, will participate, and the \uad6d\uc545 \ud589\uc0ac will be hosted by traditional Korean musician Oh Jeong-hae.<\/p>\n
