Lowgraphy, a company specializing in dance academy operational solutions, launched a dedicated kiosk system for dance schools on May 22. This initiative responds to the growing global demand for dance education, fueled by the worldwide popularity of K-Pop. The new kiosk integrates features such as one-day class and pass payments, attendance management, and multi-language support, providing an optimized solution for the unique operational needs of dance academies. It is expected to enhance convenience for students and significantly improve operational efficiency for the academies.
Introducing the Dedicated Dance Academy Kiosk
Lowgraphy officially released its dedicated kiosk for dance academies on May 22, aiming to bring innovation to the dance education market. This product centralizes one-day class and pass payments, attendance management, and multi-language support into a single system, focusing on alleviating the complexities of dance academy operations.

Previously, general kiosks designed for academic institutions or sports facilities were primarily structured for recurring membership payments. This often made them ill-suited for dance academies, which typically offer numerous one-time classes. Dance academies present a unique environment with diverse student types, including regular members, one-day class participants, and pass holders. This often resulted in inefficient bottlenecks with payments and inquiries concentrating just before class starts.
Lowgraphy's dedicated kiosk addresses these issues by allowing students to directly view daily class schedules, process payments for one-day classes or passes, and even manage attendance all at once. Notably, its multi-language support enables foreign students to complete payments and registrations without staff assistance, positioning it as an effective solution for the global demand for dance instruction.
K-Pop Boom Drives Global Enrollment, Kiosks Provide Solution
With the global surge in K-Pop's popularity, there has been a significant increase in foreign visitors coming to Korea to learn dance, driving a sharp rise in demand for multi-language support at dance academies. The multi-language function of the Lowgraphy kiosk perfectly aligns with this global trend, dramatically improving convenience for foreign students.
For instance, Hongdae Project Lee Dance Academy, one of the pilot locations, reported that foreign students accounted for an impressive 37% of its enrollment over the past year, reflecting high international demand. A representative from Project Lee Dance Academy stated that since implementing the kiosk, customers have found it easy and convenient to use, and the distribution of payment tasks that previously crowded the pre-class period has made it feel like they have gained an additional staff member.
Boosting Operational Efficiency and Future Expansion Plans
The Lowgraphy kiosk is currently undergoing pilot operation at Hongdae Project Lee Dance Academy and Gunja Ho Dance Seoul. Based on positive feedback from these locations, its adoption is expected to expand widely. Lowgraphy plans to further develop the system into a comprehensive solution encompassing all student types by adding regular class payment functionality in future updates.
Seo Jong-ryeol, CEO of Lowgraphy, noted, "Dance academies have a unique operational structure where payment and inquiry tasks are concentrated just before class begins." He emphasized that "The Lowgraphy kiosk will be an efficient tool that gives valuable time back to academy operators." He also expressed his commitment to continuously building infrastructure optimized for the specific characteristics of dance academies.
