Samsung Electronics has launched a new ‘Infinite AI Wine Refrigerator’ that conveniently manages wine from information verification, entry/exit, storage, to consumption, all powered by AI. This product utilizes AI technology to help manage wine more efficiently and systematically. As an ultra-premium appliance from the Infinite line, it is characterized by the convergence of innovative technology and elegant design.
AI Wine Manager Supports Smart Wine Management
The new product is equipped with an advanced ‘AI Vision’ camera based on generative AI. When the refrigerator door opens, the ‘AI Vision’ camera at the top detects the entry and exit of wine bottles. Once a wine is stored, it recognizes its location and analyzes label information to automatically record detailed information such as the wine’s name, varietal, and vintage into the ‘AI Wine Manager’ on SmartThings.
Even if a wine’s storage location changes or it is newly removed, the system detects this and updates the wine list in real time. Users can easily check their wine inventory, management status, and storage locations through the ‘AI Wine Manager.’ Additionally, it is possible to receive recommendations for food recipes that pair well with the wines they own.
Optimal Storage Technology Preserves Wine Taste and Aroma
The new product offers ample storage space, capable of holding up to 101 bottles of wine, and is also designed to store ingredients like cheese or fruit that pair well with wine. The interior space is divided into three zones – upper, middle, and lower – each comprising a ‘Triple Cooling Zone’ where individual temperatures can be set from a minimum of 3℃ to a maximum of 18℃, tailored to the type of wine or ingredients.
A ‘Multi Pantry’ is located in the center, allowing for precise temperature control with five modes for items such as wine, ham/sausage, nuts, cheese, and fruit, ensuring premium ingredients are stored in optimal condition. The front door incorporates UV-blocking triple-pane glass material, which blocks approximately 92% of external ultraviolet rays and effectively maintains a constant temperature, allowing wine to be stored in optimal condition without concerns of spoilage due to UV light or temperature fluctuations, according to the company.
Harmony of Premium Design and User-Friendly Features
This new product features the premium design of the ‘Infinite’ line. The door’s edge frame design adds a luxurious three-dimensional feel, while the black metal interior and ‘tunnel lighting’ create a sophisticated ambiance. The metal material helps preserve cold air and maintain an even temperature distribution within the refrigerator.
Natural wood wine racks, highlighting the grain of the wood, provide a luxurious feel even when inserting or removing wines. Its ‘Kitchen Fit’ design, tailored for 700mm deep refrigerator cabinetry, creates a built-in look that naturally blends into the kitchen environment. Additionally, the ‘Auto Open Door’ function allows the door to be opened with a light touch or voice command, enabling users to easily open it by touching the door sensor or using the AI voice assistant ‘Bixby’ even when holding wine or ingredients. The new product features a low-vibration, low-noise design through a digital inverter compressor, offering a quiet and pleasant user experience.
With the launch of the ‘Infinite AI Wine Refrigerator,’ Samsung Electronics has significantly enhanced the convenience of wine management. Moon Jong-seung, Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Digital Appliances Business, stated that the company will continue to introduce premium home appliances that innovate users’ lifestyles based on advanced AI technology. The new product is priced at 6,499,000 won.
