Finement, a startup operating an AI-based travel recommendation platform, has completed the registration of five trademarks related to its core brands, ‘Finement’ and ‘Glocaling.’ Concurrently, the company officially launched its AI travel service ‘Glocaling’ app via app stores, aiming to enhance its technological competitiveness. This trademark registration follows the application for four AI travel recommendation-related patents in the second half of last year, further strengthening its intellectual property portfolio.

Intellectual Property Strengthened Through Core Brand Trademark Acquisition

Finement, an AI-based travel recommendation platform startup, announced on the 31st that it has completed the registration of five trademarks related to its core brands, ‘Finement’ and ‘Glocaling.’ This trademark registration further strengthens Finement’s intellectual property portfolio for brand protection.

This trademark registration follows Finement’s application for four AI travel recommendation-related patents in the second half of last year. The five registered trademarks include the service brand name ‘Glocaling’ and the company brand name ‘Finement,’ securing rights across key domestic service classifications.

Official Launch of AI Travel Platform ‘Glocaling’ App

Concurrent with the completion of trademark registration, Finement officially launched its AI travel platform app service, ‘Glocaling,’ on app stores. This app provides AI-based travel recommendation services to users.

The currently launched ‘Glocaling’ app is an initial model of a user-customized AI travel recommendation service. Finement has announced plans to advance the service by utilizing technology that more deeply analyzes travelers’ preferences and contexts to personalize and propose locally specialized experiences.

Finement CEO, Jung Ji-yeon, stated, "By early establishment of an IP portfolio encompassing patents and trademarks, we have secured a solid competitive advantage in both technology and brand aspects."

CEO Jung further explained, "Through simultaneous IP acquisition and service launch, Glocaling aims to move beyond the R&D stage and enter a full-fledged commercialization phase." The company added that it plans to rapidly expand its user base alongside securing seed investment.
