Completed in 1991, this site previously hosted an experiment where eight crew members attempted complete self-sufficiency in water, food, and air for two years. However, unforeseen variables led it to be dubbed a 'failed utopia.' Decades later, as it welcomes a new human endeavor, anticipation is high for what outcomes will emerge.
