The event will take place at Eeum Hall, a Korean Food Culture Space in Seoul. This seminar aims to diagnose the current state of Hansik&#x27;s global expansion and re-examine its competitiveness from an international perspective.<\/p>\n<h2>Assessing Hansik&#x27;s Global Competitiveness<\/h2>\n<p>The upcoming seminar will meticulously analyze the current status and areas for improvement of Hansik (Korean food), which is gaining global popularity. It will specifically focus on re-evaluating Hansik&#x27;s competitiveness from a foreign perspective. The goal is to analyze Hansik&#x27;s current image and consumption trends to derive concrete and practical strategies for its future expansion into overseas markets.<\/p>\n<p>The event will be held on May 29, starting at 1:30 PM, at Eeum Hall, a Korean Food Culture Space operated by the Korean Food Promotion Institute in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The KFPI has been actively pursuing various research and initiatives for the globalization of Hansik, and this seminar is considered a crucial part of its efforts to strengthen Hansik&#x27;s global capabilities.<\/p>\n<h2>In-Depth Analysis: Hallyu&#x27;s Impact and European Perceptions<\/h2>\n<p>The seminar is structured into two main sessions. In the first session, Professor Hong Seok-kyoung from Seoul National University&#x27;s Department of Communication will present on &quot;Hallyu and Korean Food in the World.&quot; Professor Hong will offer a multifaceted analysis of Hallyu&#x27;s impact on Hansik&#x27;s global status and the processes through which its image has been formed.<\/p>\n<p>The second session will feature Kim Tae-yeon, CEO of the Kimchi &amp; Hansik Culture Education Institute, which is actively operating in the Netherlands. Her presentation, titled &quot;Changes in Hansik Perception in Europe: Based on Educational Experience,&quot; will share insights into localization strategies and practical educational cases. This will be based on changes in European consumers&#x27; perceptions and preferences for Hansik, providing practical approaches for overseas market entry.<\/p>\n<h2>Charting a Course for Sustainable Globalization of Hansik<\/h2>\n<p>Following both presentations, a Q&amp;A session will allow presenters and attendees to freely exchange opinions and discuss directions for Hansik&#x27;s globalization and development strategies.
