The 행사 will offer participants of diverse 국적 an 기회 to connect and create lasting 추억 through the universal 언어 of K-Pop.
Global K-Pop Festival to Unfold at Seoul's DDP
A global K-Pop 문화 축제, the 'K-Pop Vibe Seoul Dance 대회,' is set to take place at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul on Saturday, July 25, at 1:30 PM. This 행사, a prominent 복합문화공간 representing Seoul, is 주최 by the 서울특별시, 주관 by the Seoul Global Center, and 운영 by the International Super Queen Model Association, adding to its 의미. The 대회, to be held in the DDP Design Lab's 1st-floor showroom, is 기대된다 to draw global 이목.
The 대회 is designed to foster 활발한 문화 교류 among 외국인, 유학생, and 자녀 from 다문화 가정 residing in 한국. Utilizing K-Pop as a 공통의 언어, it will provide a platform for participants to communicate and achieve 화합, establishing itself as a global cultural 축제 that offers unique 경험 and 추억 against the 배경 of Seoul.
Diverse Competition Categories and Generous Awards
The 'K-Pop Vibe Seoul Dance 대회' is open to 외국인, 유학생, and 자녀 from 다문화 가정 aged 17 and 이상. It will feature two 경연 부문: 개인전 and 단체전. Participants have the option to enter both 경연 부문. For the 단체전 category, 한국인 can also join teams of 2 to 10 members, provided at least one 외국인 is included, creating a special 기회 for 전 세계인 to perform together.
The 대회 welcomes all 경연 종목, including K-Pop cover dance, 일반댄스, b-boying, hip-hop, locking, 현대무용, and 한국무용. This open approach allows participants to freely express their 개성, 창의성, and 예술성.
A 총 상금 of 5 million won and 다채로운 시상 혜택 are prepared to further fuel the participants' 열정. Prizes will be awarded in both 개인전 and 단체전 categories. The 최우수상 winning group (one team) will receive 2 million won, while the 최우수상 winning 개인 will receive 1 million won, along with a trophy, 상장, and additional prizes. 우수상 (two teams, 700,000 won each; two 개인, 300,000 won each), 인기상, and 특별상 will also be given.
Registration and Public Participation Programs
Individuals or teams wishing to 참가 접수 in the 대회 must submit a dance 영상, no longer than 3분 이내, via the Google Form 신청 by 화요일, June 30. Applicants must accurately provide necessary 정보, including 성명, 생년월일, 연락처, place of residence, 국적, and visa 상태. 본선 진출자 who pass the 예선 심사 will be notified individually on July 3, with 상세 내용 regarding the final round to be provided 별도로.
On the 당일 of the final 대회, a variety of 시민 참여형 프로그램 will be available for 시민 to join in the 축제의 열기. These include a random play dance for all K-Pop fans, a 'life-four-cuts' photo booth to capture 소중한 추억, and a Hanbok 체험 to explore 전통미, ensuring an unforgettable 경험 for all attendees.
