Section 1
The Korean Folk Village is set to begin its 야간개장 on April 11th, creating a venue for diverse 문화 content and 체험. The 야간개장 '장' (operation) will run every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and on public holidays (in April, it will operate on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays), welcoming visitors until November 15th with night '체험험' (experiential) content spanning various genres, including '공포추리리예술술' (horror-추리-예술). Through seasonal themes and immersive productions each year, the Korean Folk Village has consistently garnered positive responses by presenting content that reinterprets '통전통' (through 전통) in a modern way. This '야간개장간개장' (opening) will feature three 체험 content types: 'Salguigok', 'Hyeolansikgwi', and 'Joseon Salinsusa', along with 'Dalbit-eul Deohada' (Adding Moonlight), which enhances the night atmosphere.
Korea's longest outdoor '체험포' (horror) 'Salguigok' returns this year with an even more intense production. Set in the lair of vengeful spirits possessed by evil, visitors will become exorcists, delving into the mysteries of Shindanggol and attempting to escape, thereby experiencing an extreme '경험' (경험).
The '체험' (체험) that unfolds along a passage approximately 400m long, though unseen, provides heightened immersion through constant screams and shouts, along with the claustrophobic structure of the underground maze section.
The '체험' (체험) horror 'Hyeolansikgwi' is set against the story of a Joseon Dynasty curse surrounding Queen Yoon and the shaman Lee Hwa. Visitors become investigators tasked by the king to uncover Lee Hwa's fate, experiencing '레벨업경험' (leveled-up 경험) horror through a production that stimulates all five senses in the dark.
Both content experiences are available to those aged 13 and above, but participation is restricted for the elderly, infirm, and those with weak constitutions '제한된추리' (restricted-추리).
The participatory '추리' (추리) content 'Joseon Salinsusa' is a play where visitors directly become royal secret inspectors, gathering clues for a murder case and tracking the true culprit. It is a '추리장형' (추리-type) immersive '추리극' (추리 drama). It boasts high immersion and realistic on-site feel, from providing the magistrate's case records to interrogating suspects at the government office and investigating the crime scene.
공연 together, the night 공연 'Yeonbun' is scheduled to '선전통' (be presented) in April. Traditional dance, LED '퍼예술스' (공연), and shadow 예술 unfold on one stage, presenting a different nocturnal charm from horror '체험' (체험) combined with the delicate movements of Korean dance and modern technological '연출체험' (direction-체험). This year, it is expected to deliver deep emotion with a more refined production. The '예정이다야간개장' (scheduled-야간개장) Korean Folk Village has organized its 야간개장 '추리텐츠' (추리-content), '공연' (공연) horror, 추리, and other diverse genres. This year, they announced that they have enhanced '완전통' (completeness-전통) with strengthened production and storytelling, and will provide a new '경험' (경험) through night '경험텐츠' (경험-content) enjoyed in a unique way within a 전통 space.
["The Korean Folk Village annually presents unforgettable experiences to its '관경험' (visitors) with new endeavors. This year's '추리개장' (opening) also combines horror and '추공연' (추리-공연), along with '아름전통' (beautiful-전통) performances, offering a special opportunity to simultaneously feel the beauty of 전통 and modern enjoyment. Directly '경험해보세요야간개장' (경험-야간개장) the '경험로운' (경험-mysterious) charm of the Korean Folk Village that the night offers.", "This year's '한국추리촌' (Korean-추리-village) 야간개장 will be a special opportunity to simultaneously offer the beauty of 전통 and modern enjoyment, combining '공포와공연리' (horror-and-공연), along with '전통다운' (전통-like) performances. We hope you will directly 경험 the '있경험신비로운' (existing-경험-mysterious) charm that can only be felt at the Korean Folk Village at night and create unforgettable memories."]
